MEMORANDUM FOR: The Parents of Clear Lake Intermediate School LDC Cadets.
SUBJECT: Cadet Attendance and Registration for the 2009 12th Annual LDC Social
Dear Parents,
The 2010 12th Annual LDC Social will be held at Clear Springs High School, 501 Palomino, League City, TX 77573, on 06 February 2010. Reporting time for cadets and guests is between 1645 and 1700 hours (4:45-5:00pm). This is to confirm seating and begin forming the receiving line. The Dining Out is a mandatory requirement for the Etiquette Class Grade, and is a major part of the 3rd Nine Weeks Grade. The cost is $30.00 per person (Parents are invited and welcomed at the same ticket cost). For Clear Lake Intermediate Cadets only, because of the hard work during concessions stands, the CLIS Booster club will cover $15.00 of all CLIS cadet tickets. All other tickets will be $30.00. The cost covers the meal, disc jockey, security, and decorations. There will be a dance following the dinner portion of the event which will last until 2200 (10:00 PM). 1730 – 1900 (5:30 pm- 7:00 pm) is the only required portion of the event.
To assist us in planning, seating, ordering meals and table protocol, your cadet must inform us of the number of his/her guests attending at the earliest possible time. Please have your cadet complete the information below and return it by 22 January 2010 (Friday). This signed letter will be for a daily grade. The menu selected this year is a choice between three entrées and two desserts: 1) Brisket: Barbecue Brisket, Tossed Salad, and Garlic Bread, Iced Tea, and Water: 2) Lasagna: Lasagna, Tossed Salad, and Garlic Bread, Iced Tea, and Water; 3) Vegetarian: Baked Potato, Tossed Salad, and Dinner Roll, Iced Tea and Water. Dessert Choices: (A) Chocolate Cake or (B) Cherry Cheesecake.
